I’m a 51 year old trying to keep in shape and picked up the sport of triathlon about 5 years ago. I am a 2 x 70.3 finisher, numerous Olympic and Sprint distance finisher, 4 x 1/2 Marathon and over fifty 5k races. I will be competing as a relay team member (Bike) this year at 70.3 IronMan NC. I found this sport to motivating and inspiring and will continue to race as long as my body can hold up. I’m also a partially disabled veteran (US Army), a father of 2 adults, and a husband to the most incredible supportive wife of 28 years.
