Breaking records and inspiring others in the fight to end MS
My name is Phil Fox (39), and I'm a Chicago-based ultracyclist setting world records and competing in the Race Across America, the world’s toughest bicycle race. My team and I have dedicated this effort to Bike MS and the fight to end multiple sclerosis.
We ultimately completed the 2022 Race Across America in 11 days, 5 hours and 33 minutes. We placed fifth overall and were named ‘Rookie of the Year.’
In 2023, I am looking forward to setting the Guinness World Record cycling around Lake Erie after setting the record around Lake Michigan in 2021. I've also qualified to defend my title as the Fastest American at Paris-Brest Paris 1200k event.
