I am a former college athlete who stumbled into triathlon during veterinary school. As a type A personality that works in a surprisingly stressful field triathlon (and exercise in general) has become a wonderful stress reliever.
I did my first 70.3 in 2015 and rented a pair of wheels from my LBS for that race. As I slowly built up my collection of gear since I knew that before I headed after my first full ironman at Louisville in 2018. I had heard of FLO wheelsets back in the days that pre-orders were required and I liked the idea of supporting a smaller company backed by strong science and data, plus I was a sucker for those patriotic stickers on my set ;).
I have been beyond happy with my wheelset and with the bike being my favorite leg of triathlon its been wonderful to get some "cheap" speed as I chase new goals.
Out of sport I split my time spending time outdoors with my husband, travelling, enjoying food, and spending time with my pets. I am very passionate about my dogs and have been lucky enough to succeed as a veterinarian in my community. I love my regular job but I have been recently seeking out ways to combine my passion for endurance sport and animals by working to try and start a volunteer led running group with some of our local humane society animals, and giving talks with surrounding run groups on running with your dog.
I am hopeful that I can take my passion for biking and sport and help to promote your brand as well as support other members of the FLO team
