Aircraft Gas-turbine Technician (jet engine mechanic) living in Manitoba. I started Triathlon in 2009 while living in Vancouver BC. Concentrating on sprint and Olympic distances until 2017 when I moved up to the 70.3 distance at the Ironman 70.3 Victoria. In 2019 a new job had me move my family to Winnipeg. The move along with renovating an old house my training and racing efforts were curtailed with the exception of a winter triathlon (-25°C). With renos complete and stress reduced I am back to training for the 2020 season. I am starting a YouTube channel for basement bike shop and training called “Watts in your basement Stan?”. I have also been bitten by TV gravel bug and commute to work year round. I have been a Nuun Hydration brand ambassador since 2018.
