I am an ultradistance cyclist. In the past two years I've crushed two major races. In 2018 I became one of only a handful of 4-time solo finishers of the brutal Race Across Oregon. In 2019, I finished the 1000-mile No Country For Old Men (Big Bend, TX) and re-qualified for the Race Across AMerica (RAAM). I regularly participate in races by serving as an advisor/crew chief to other racers. This year I was a crew chief for Race Across Oregon, and next year I will be a crew chief for a solo racer in the Race Across America.
In “real” life I’m a health educator. I teach on a wide variety of health related topics throughout Humboldt County, California - everything from safe bicycling to nutrition to tai chi.
