I grew up in Cincinnati, Ohio. From there I went on to Columbus, Ohio where I attended The Ohio State University. Following that, I went to graduate school and have been working as a medical professional in orthopedic surgery and sports medicine with The Ohio State University Sports Medicine for the past 8 years.
I am happily married and have two kids - a 5-year-old daughter and a 2.5-year-old son.
Outside of work and family, I enjoy watching pretty much anything sports related, fantasy football, going to concerts, and family trips to Disney World.
Over the past few years I have also developed a passion for triathlon. I am dedicated to honing my athletic performance toward being a competitive sprint triathlete - I love blasting out sprints!
My main goal is to qualify for Team USA in my age group for sprint distance.
