Mexican/ Spanish, manager of a sea food company, I like doing outdoor activities, hiking, sailing, mtb, road cycling. Practicing a sport or competing is something I really enjoy specially when I do it with friends.
Why do I do Triathlon? It’s a question I have been asked many times specially from people that doesn’t practice any sport. I know it sounds like a cliché, but to inspire and show that everything is possible if you sent a goal. All my life until was 25 years old I was fat, and never thought I could be on my weight; but I lost 40 kg. When I finally got to my weight after months of diet and sacrifice, I decided that I wanted to something I thought I never could, so I started doing triathlon because it is a big challenge and I like 3 sports. I speak to people about it, when they think achieving something big is reserved for a few ones, but is not, we are al capable of achieving big things. And I always tell them “start doing what is necessary, later what is possible and suddenly you’ll be doing the impossible” I want to leave a legacy to my family something to be remembered by and hopefully one day someone can tell me “because of you I didn’t give up”.
