I’ve been racing triathlon for 16 years now. Started in 2003 after my senior year of high school. In 2007 I qualified to race as a USAT elite and did that for 2 years. I had a lackluster pro experience, my swim was not where it needed to be to be competitive at that level. Then I went back to school to eventually become both a Massage Therapist and Physical Therapist Assistant and training/racing took a back seat. In 2012 I got back to training for triathlon more seriously. In 2018 I qualified once again to race as an Elite and just completed my first year back racing at that level. I had a short season due to some injuries but did show improvement. When not working or training I enjoy paddle boarding, tennis, yoga, beer at a local brewery and going out for food to name a few favorites.
