I am a 57 year old, 12X IRONMAN. I an a CEO of a small market research/consulting company in the flat panel display industry. I have been doing triathlons since 1983. After qualifying for Kona in 2015 at IMFL, my core exploded playing basketball with my son, developing a sports hernia, hip labral tears and lower back disc ruptures. I have had a couple of surgeries, but have progressed to the point that I can race again. I am a strong cyclist and routinely finish in the top of my age group on the bile, usually top 1%. Looking forward to racing again, especially as I age up to 55-59. I was part of the Kokua team from 2014-2016 and have a FLO disc and rim brake wheel set. Recently divorced, living in La Jolla.
