I'm 44 years old and just getting back into triathlon in 2020 after a 5 year hiatus. Cyclocross is my main love right now, but also do mountain biking and road riding.
I am the president of the DMOS Race Team (Des Moines Cycle Club Race Team). We are Central Iowa's oldest bike racing team. Our main focus is on Masters age beginner and less experienced racers. After a few down years, I took over as president and we've seen fantastic growth the last couple of years. We've put quite a few people on podiums in cyclocross races this season. I'm anticipating we will add another 10-12 members to the team for 2020.
We also run our own summer race series. We run track-format races on a 1/2 mile course in a city park. We also put on a Road Race and a Gravel Fondo. We are also moving into Multisport for 2020 and actively recruiting triathletes and duathletes.
