I'm a full time firefighter for the city of Montreal and also work as a part time firefighter for the city of Rigaud. I'm as well a teacher at the firefighter school here in Quebec. On top of that, I'm a single dad with 3 kids. My story is pretty simple, when we got our twins, i was so tired that i stopped working out. I took around 30 pounds and wasn't fit for duty. On January 17th 2019, we got a call on the 16th floor. Could even get there in one piece and this was a slap in the face. I bought a bike to start exercising with the guys at the firehouse. Then, some of the guys started running so I joined them. Eventually, they challenged me to do a triathlon that year. I cut all the sugar and trained real hard. At this day, i lost 60 pound but more importantly, i found a new passion for triathlon. Only did a sprint in 2019 but it felt great. What a sport and the people there were great. In 2020, i had planned to do 1 sprint, 2 olympics et finish with the 70.3 Maine. Unfortunately, everything was cancelled. It didn't put me down and I continued working out like my races were still on. I tried to get as many people to exercise through Instagram and post about my training. I'm a hard worker and passionate about what I do.
