I’ve been a triathlete since 2014 and a member of the Disney tri team since I work for the Walt Disney company as an on-air personality. I am a bilingual spokesperson. In 2019, I completed my first half Ironman and have been training for my second half Ironman coming up this December. In between, but no thanks to the pandemic, I have managed to squeeze in two other triathlons. I just finished the OC triathlon this past weekend. I ride a 54 Cervelo P3 and have FLO wheels on one of my race bikes, but I am looking to add some to my second race bike which is also a Cervelo P3. It currently has Reynolds wheels which I’m not crazy about. I got into triathlon for the sole purpose of making myself healthier, but in the process, I have become hooked on becoming better and better. I am married and have two kids, an 18-year-old boy and a 12-year-old girl, and my wife is a runner. My daughter likes triathlon and did her first one with me just before the start of this pandemic. We are a very active family and I personally train six days a week, and twice a day at times depending on what my coach tasked me with. I also own a vintage Volkswagen restoration business. I am also the Advertising Director for a VW related magazine and a YouTube on air-personality for Hot VWs magazine. Although I have three irons in the fire, it allows me flexibility that comes in handy when training as well as having time for my family.
