Married 20 years, have two amazing girls 13 and 14. Work for the City of Bellingham as a Fire Captain / Paramedic. Have a degree from WWU in Industrial Design. Athletically was drawn to cycling at a young age coming from speed skating. Was a collegiate sprinter / hurdler (track and field) - where I also met my beautiful wife! After college, gravitated back to cycling and specifically Ironman triathlons. Currently love riding and racing (when races aren't cancelled - been a tough couple of years). Ride for a local bike shop here in Bellingham (Fanatik) Also dabbled in Spartan racing.
