I was born and raised in Puerto Rico. I moved out of the island when I joined the USAF in 1997. Today, I'm a USAF MSgt (Retired) living in Beavercreek, OH. I began my journey in endurance sports in 2010 when I ran my first marathon, the Bataan Memorial Death March, in New Mexico. I qualified for the Boston Marathon at the Cleveland Marathon in 2012 and ran the 2013 Boston marathon. I then decided to move to triathlons in 2013. I qualified and raced the USAT Age Group Nationals in 2013, 2018, 2019 and 2021. I mostly race in Ohio, but I finished the IM Florida in 2014, and raced with two of my best friends in 2018 the IM 70.3 Puerto Rico. On March 2022, I raced at the IM 70.3 Puerto Rico for my first race as a member of the FLO Factory Team.
