My name is Erik Davenport and I live in Grand Rapids, Michigan with my fiancé and our two dogs. When I’m not hiking or kayaking with my dogs, I am cycling the hilly roads in west Michigan or hitting one of the many mountain bike trails nearby. Growing up I always loved riding my bike around the neighborhood. It wasn’t until I got out of college that I rediscovered my love for biking. In the past 2 years I have competed in every type of race, from Grattan road races, to Barry-Roubaix, and Peak2Peak and Iceman, and many more gravel/mtb races. During the races I have kept a positive attitude and have stayed true to the real reason why I ride-for the love of being outside. My goal is to always keep that mindset for as long as I’m riding.
