For the past three years I have been the most senior Research and Development Engineer at Vorteq. I was responsible for projects such as Alex Dowsett’s Hour Record skinsuit, Ashton Lambie’s Individual Pursuit record skinsuit, the modelling and bike fitting for Simon Yates’ Giro TT stage win among helping countless other amateurs find speed on all types of bicycle. I have now left this role to pursue the next step in my career.
I have also been racing bikes for 7 years, picking up some wins at regional level here and there but mostly just enjoying racing and being competitive. Illness, injury and the cost of living have all contributed to a lack of road racing especially over the last two years but in 2023 I want to get back into it similarly to when I was racing for a team while at University.
With a large sense of adventure, riding abroad is something that I have always wanted to do. This is one of my goals next year, to find some nice mountains to ride up!
