Well to start off, first real gravel race and I decided to race the longest distance and most elevation ever in a ride. Before this race 105km and 1100m was my most distance and elevation to date. Completing the 130km distance with 2000m elevation seemed stupid but I was in for the challenge. Met up with Fellow Flo factory teammate Chris Cheeseman to get our inaugural photo together in the Flo swag. Topped off by the fact that we both brought our gas mask to keep the pandemic bugs at bay. With no charcoal filters on the masks, it did absolutely nothing and I would advise against riding your bike with restricted airflow anyways. Well organized event in a beautiful part of Southern Ontario. Definitely a bucket race for those gravel racers out there and I have already sold and searching for a gravel bike with larger capable tires for next year.
